About the author
Palmer Attaway is a 30-something, traveling professional who fancies himself an artist and a poet and believes he has some insight and a vision of society to share with the world… blurry, haze-ridden, and myopic though that vision may be.
He attended Northwestern State in Natchitoches for several years before realizing College, while an important developmental force, is just a way for the universe to poke fun at his inability to do simple arithmetic. His studies included Visual arts, Theatre, Psychology and telecommunications. He spent time on the radio at 91.7 KNWD, the college station, where he developed a low level of self important puffery he still uses to his benefit… and detriment… to this day.
The post college and pre-retirement period has brought a string of unusual circumstances and mishaps including the end of his stint in the SCA, having some artwork in a feature film and in a local gallery, spending several years in a monk-like existence, and having a sting of increasingly meaningless relationships with increasingly beautiful women, Palmer has found himself in his 30′s with a desire to share the afore mentioned view of the world, the human race and his hopes for the future peppered with a healthy dose of rant, free verse, and maybe a doodle or two.
One final note and perhaps a glimpse into his since of humor and the man himself… Palmer wrote this and it’s entirely in self deprecating third person… what a goofball, eh?
